Angel H. Broadwater, Esq., started her legal career as a civil litigator before New York and Connecticut court systems.  She returned to Maine, where she grew up, and worked for LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., a title insurance company with underwriters that include Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company and Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation.  While with LandAmerica, she served as Underwriting Counsel supporting attorneys and agents with commercial and residential settlement, real estate related issues and resolutions.  Angel assisted with the organization, coordination and underwriting of one of the largest land transactions in the State of Maine.  She has experience with multi-million dollar commercial real estate transactions, and can guide parties through a residential transaction with the attention to detail that is necessary during the closing process from a settlement agent.  Angel has presented at many real estate related seminars on a variety of topics, and regularly attends Continuing Legal Education classes to stay informed on matters that affect her practice areas and her clients.  She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association where her membership includes the Real Estate and Title Section, and the Estate Planning Section. Additionally, she is a member of the Federal bar.
